About Linda Kandler -

Linda is a full time residential Real Estate Broker, a REALTOR® and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®).  She is a native of Western Washington and was raised in a family that was active in both real estate and residential and commercial construction on the Eastside of Seattle. After attending college at Western Washington University and Seattle University, Linda was administrative assistant for Pacific Construction Systems in Seattle, handling tenant construction for Martin Selig Real Estate.  Following this, she lived in Eastern Washington, in the town of Winthrop, located in the Methow Valley. During her 30 years living in the Methow Valley, she owned a popular destination western apparel, home furnishings and art gallery named the Purple Sage which is still located on the boardwalk in downtown Winthrop.  Linda also was a co-owner of North Cascade Construction which specialized in building high end homes in the Methow Valley.  And for 7 years she was a board director and treasurer for the Methow Valley Public School Funding Alliance. 

Linda always knew that she wanted to chart a path helping others and found her true calling in real estate serving her clients and guiding them through one of the biggest investments of their lives. Because of this calling, Linda started her real estate career in Winthrop, receiving her real estate license in 1991. Being a seasoned real estate professional has provided her with valuable skills which she uses daily in real estate negotiations, educating homebuyers and sellers, and effectively marketing listings. Clients can take stock that Linda is an outstanding detail oriented real estate broker and has a very a strong work ethic. She feels it is her duty to protect their clients’ best interests and treats all parties involved in a transaction honestly.  Linda recognizes and values the trust her clients place in her and she strives every day to exceed their expectations. 

Outside Interests -

Ed, Linda’s husband, is a retired federal judge, they have been happy owners of a home in the Providence Point community in Issaquah since 2014. Together they enjoy traveling, hiking the local Washington State parks, and spending time with their five children, grandchild, and their mischievous Cairn Terrier pup, Åsa. In her free time, Linda is a self-taught artist, designing art and jewelry in her garage studio, selling her work in local galleries and on her website.

In the Providence Point community, Linda is a director on the Garden Village Board and a director on the Kiwanis Club of Providence Point Board; she is an active member in developing the new Providence Point Living website; and is a contributing member to the Providence Point Garden Club, and to the Providence Point Wine & Food Society. She is currently the Providence Point’s Kiwanis Medical Loan Closet Coordinator, loaning medical equipment at no charge to those in-need members of the community. Recently, Linda’s mother moved to Providence Point and resides in Washington Village. During the Spring and Summer, Linda and her mom look forward to gardening together in the community Pea Patch and throughout the year they enjoy attending the community Book Club meetings and Wine & Food Society events.
